New York Women in March Madness there are a number of great women who have participated in March Madness many of them are from right here in New York Tina Charles Tina attended the University of Connecticut Keno won the NCAA Championship in 2009 and 2010 she was at the time the all-time leading scorer and rebounder in Yukon play for the New York Liberty and currently plays for the Washington Mystics Sue bird Sue bird played for the University of Connecticut who won the NCAA Championship in 2000 and 2001 we're currently plays for the Seattle Storm who is considered by many as one of the greatest female point guard of all time. Shaniqua attended the University of Tennessee she won the NCAA championship in 1996 1997 and 1998 he scored over 3,000 points in college she is currently retired and is an advocate for mental health local success babies have a combined 7 NCAA championship rings they have also combined to achieve an astonishing 7 Olympic gold medals all three we're number one overall WNBA draft picks
