Meals are available for all adults and children. Everyone is encouraged to take 3 meals, one breakfast and two lunch.
Vegetarian options are available and can be offered as a Halal meals. In addition we have two schools in our district that are offering Kosher meals:

Amazon - Free Audio Books and Audio Stories for Students. FREE!!

Amazon today cancelled the subscription fees of books and audio stories for children and students of all ages as long as schools are closed, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue streaming, learning, and just being kids. All stories are free to stream on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet using the following link:

Remote Learning Device Request

To help students stay connected during emergencies, the DOE is lending internet-enabled iPads to support remote learning for students. If you would like to request a device for a NYC student in your family, please fill out the form below. The DOE will use the contact information you provide to get in touch with you to discuss when and where you can pick up a device. Priority will be given to students most in need, and all devices are granted on a temporary basis and will later need to be returned. There is a limit of one device per student.

• Comcast: free internet with the “Internet Essentials Package” for 60 days Phone: 855-846-8376

• Altice Advantage Internet is available to new Optimum and Suddenlink internet customers, who have not had internet service within the past 60 days and a member of the household is a NYC resident and attends a NYC Public SCHOOL

Three Free Meals

Notify NYC: Starting today, NYC students can pick up three free meals daily from 7:30 am - 1:30 pm Monday-Friday at 400 NYC sites.
